If this also works in a vacuum, then there may be a gravity field effect, rather than an ionic electric field distortion effect. 23kv x .5mv = 115watts. Very poor power efficiency to lift 2 ounces. Test power use in a vacuum perhaps. Also, test current while suspended in a high voltage insulating liquid? If same lift with very low power useage, we may be onto something.

seen it on mythbusters… put it in an airtight container and it wont float! the foil moves fast enough to propel the object upwards. its thrust… nothing more…

Heey id you know that that was my idea too but I don’t know if there is anough lift. On wikipedia there is a formula to calculate the force that the lifter would give. but don’t know nif it’s true. bye

Could you set up 3 or 4 of these and vary the electricity to each of them to make some kind of vehicle?

Already done by TT Brown, Hector Serrano, Takaashi Musha, Campbell, Purdue University, US ARMY, US AIRFORCE PROPULSION DIRECTORATE, EDWARDS, WRIGHT PATTERSON,OH.

Look at NASA (GRAVITEC) videos of Serrano and Campbell patented devices still having force in hard vacuum. With high K-factor dielectrics, and shped field, the force is tremendous.

Our Applied Electrogravitics ALPHA power supply is only 124grams (piezoelectric transformer the size of a sugar cube) and a professor in Tokyo achied untethered onboard power with a modified version of our power units in spring, 2003, with a large flying device (the larger you build them, the more efficient they are, and the less power they use to achieve more force). Prime factor is Voltage, along with plate, area and solid dielectrics. Look at Serrano.

Hmm, so it’s a DC device and you have to get the polarity right? That’s odd in the light of the above video.

How right you are, sir.

None of which has been provided by lifter enthusiasts despite over 70 years of tinkering.

“If I have seen further it is by standing on ye shoulders of Giants.” –Isaac Newton”
It is certainly better to stand on their shoulders than to try to bash their heads in.
But science is ever open to new discoveries.
Any neo-scientific thinking that goes counter to established science needs to state with utmost clarity its precepts and principles and back this up with utterly sound and rigorous, falsifiable experimentation and evidence.

No, a gravitational well is only formed between the anode and cathode configuration.Cathode falls to the anode, force dependent primarily on Voltage and plate area in this configuration. A more powerful gravitational well that repels or suspends objects is present with the overloaded, superconducting SEG.

your wrong when tested in a vacuum chamber the lifter did not work, also when tested by a extremely sensitive gravity meeter that can record the slightest fluctuation did not register a gravitational field change when this contraption was tested. what is actually happening is the high voltage is ionizing the air and making a ion wind lifting the contraption. Making significant changes in a gravitational field takes tremendous amounts of energy
See Mythbusters: Season 4 Episode 27

‘a gravitational well or gravitational low pressure zone’ - that’s amazing - surely that’s never been done before? Can you place other objects in that same gravitational well?

Note the Beamshipcaptain is Commander in Chief of the Flight Center at Swallow Command, no less! The Swallow Command website is well worth a visit - check out the pdf documents, they make excellent reading.

absolutely excellent, well done, very interecting, keep up your experimenting, manybe you can put a spark of ingenuity into the ignorant stupid uneducated world we are in, good luck professor !!!

A basic equation for electrogravitics thust is simalr to Coulombs calculations:
F = Vm1m2/r^2
This is Van der Waals forces, or ELECTROSTATIC ATTRACTION flight. The foil is pulled violently to the wire. Greater the Voltage, greater the attraction (and greater the force when anode and cathode are held in fixed realtionship).

I actually did the math on these a while back, and three of my professors (PhD’s in physics and electrical engineering) said ‘holy crap, you’re not talking about crazy antigravity stuff - this is totally real!’
It can be explained perfectly by rewriting the equations governing classical electrostatics in terms of electric field geometry instead of charge.
Totally works, but I doubt it’s a gravity effect. Not a terrible term, though, since both fields work out as 1/r^2 and interact. Nice demo!

A mechanical restriction. If you do not have some sort of on-board vettoring control, you must tether dynamic counterbary (lifting) models, to preclude arcing over and crashing, or going out of control in a dangerous manner (we are using high-Voltage at low Amperage). This is the famous, patented Biefeld Brown efect.
październik 9th, 2008 at 06:24
This could sound very foolish, what causes the lifter to stop at an specific altitude? Is it because of the thin wire that powers it, I mean, is it just a mechanical restriction or does it habe to do with the shape of the lifter and the intensity of the current?
październik 11th, 2008 at 07:13
I sealed up saucers in plastic. They still flew (backwards). No “thrust” as conventionally represented could escape the bags, so the theoretical math supports the results; this is Van der Walls forces, and ELECTROSTATIC ATTRACTION FLIGHT.
październik 14th, 2008 at 03:56
Can you show in an oscilloscope the DC shape, please?
październik 17th, 2008 at 12:05
it needs AIR to work. No air, NO fly.
Mythbusters made one Because everyone claimed it to be anti gravity,But its not, it pushes air

A professor at a University in Tokyo, using one of our ALPHA(2002)piezoelectric-based square-wave PULSED HVDc 124-gram (including battry wires) 12-Volt units, a large device, and a Lithim-polymer battery. Autonomos-flight for less than 1-minute, before battery exhausted. That was in 2003.
